The City Clerk serves as a vital link between the City Council and Nerstrand residents. The Clerk's Office provides essential clerical, record-keeping, and administrative support to the City Council, and plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of local government in accordance with city policy and law.
Primary Responsibilities of the City Clerk Include:

Managing requests to address the City Council

Preparing and distributing Council meeting agendas and related materials

Recording, maintaining, and submitting official Council meeting minutes

Organizing and preserving city records and documentation

Processing utility billing

Reviewing permit applications
